Executive Function Coaching · Sioux Falls & Online

Your student isn’t lazy.
They’re missing the skills, the system, and the support.

Missing assignments, late-night meltdowns, a portal full of surprises. Smart kids struggle when no one has taught them how to manage the work, or stood beside them while they practice. All three can be built.

“Natalie has been a wonderful addition to our child’s line up of resources as they enter the Jr High world and begin to navigate their life with more autonomy! With Natalie’s helping she’s learning skills like calendar planning, goal setting, and also has someone who holds her accountable outside of our household.…” Read more

Students planning, studying, and working independently

Every struggling student has a different story.

Which one sounds like yours?

MIDDLE SCHOOL · SAM

It’s 9:40 on a Tuesday.

Three missing assignments, a project due tomorrow, and a kid who honestly doesn’t know why.

Your student isn’t broken. They need a system built for how their brain works.

HIGH SCHOOL · SARAH

Five hours of sleep.

Honors classes, varsity, club season. She made it work, until she couldn’t.

Your student doesn’t need to do less. They need a system that can carry it all.

COLLEGE · STEVE

Move-in is six weeks away.

And Mom is wondering how in the world this is going to work.

You can’t take the risk out of college. But you can send them ready for it.

How it works

Simple, and no pressure at any step.

1

Free 30-minute call

Tell me what’s happening at home and at school. I’ll tell you honestly whether coaching is the right fit. No sales pitch.

2

A plan built for your student

We map the skills that are getting in the way and pick the program that fits your student’s grade and schedule.

3

Weekly coaching and practice

Your student builds real systems, one skill at a time, and you get updates along the way.

Three trips to the gym won’t change your body.

Executive function skills work the same way. They grow with coaching, practice, and someone in your student’s corner week after week, until the new way becomes their way.

That’s why BestEFC coaching is a process, not a pep talk.

Natalie Micheel, certified executive function coach in Sioux Falls, SD

Hi, I’m Natalie.

I spent the first part of my career designing systems at Fortune 500 companies like ITT, Sprint, and Medtronic. Now I teach students the same thing: how to build systems that make the right outcome the natural one.

“May daughter said working with Mrs. Natalie was one of the highlights of her summer and a huge support to her during the school year. She gets excited before every appointment and feels seen in her strengths and weaknesses. I am appreciating the positive impact of their work together every week and am so grateful we found 605 Tutor!”

Questions parents ask

Is this tutoring?

No. Tutoring teaches the subject. Executive function coaching teaches the skills around it: planning, starting, organizing, and following through.

Is this ADHD treatment or therapy?

No. I’m a coach, not a therapist or doctor. Many of my students have ADHD, and coaching works alongside the other support they have.

What if my student doesn’t want to do it?

That’s common, and we talk about it on the first call. Students usually buy in once they see a system that actually makes their week easier.

Is it in person or online?

Both. I’m in Sioux Falls, and I coach students across the country online.

Can’t a planner or an app do this?

A tool only works if someone teaches the habit behind it. Coaching is the practice and accountability that make the tool stick.

How long does it take?

Programs run 12 to 16 weeks, because skills take reps. Think gym membership, not a single workout.

Let’s talk about your student.
